KPF enters the current wind power market...

Successful activities at the Stuttgart Fastener Show

- Establishment of strategic cooperation with local fastener distributors and wind turbine companies

- Accelerate creation of new profits through the development of high value-added products such as wind power

- Vietnam subsidiary (KPF Vina) achieved the largest monthly order amount of about 5 billion won since its establishment

KPF participated in the Fastener Fair Stuttgart 2017 held in Stuttgart, Germany from the 28th to the 30th, leaving meaningful results and laying the foundation for local market expansion.

KPF has previously negotiated a partnership with local fastener distributors to jointly enter the construction fastener markets in Italy, Poland and Switzerland. We decided to meet again in May to discuss the conclusion of the partnership.

In addition, in order to supply wind power fasteners to German wind power equipment company Enercon, we had a preliminary consultation with a German wind power fastener distributor for a joint venture.

The two companies agreed to receive due diligence for registration of Enercon as a supplier in April.

Wind power fasteners are one of the high-value-added product lines that KFA is intensively fostering as the demand for new and renewable energy has increased recently, and KPF raised expectations for the company's new portfolio strategy using this exhibition as an opportunity.

In addition, we held strategic meetings with more than 20 customers including Wurth, Reyher, Favory, and Max Mothes, our existing customers, and explored the possibility of expanding the European market.

KFA plans to expand orders for existing products in the global market and at the same time strive to create new profits by developing high-value-added products such as wind power products.

Meanwhile, KPF Vina has consistently strengthened its sales force targeting the domestic markets in Europe, Southeast Asia, and Vietnam, and has achieved the largest number of orders per month since its establishment in 2010.

In March, it recorded an order amount of about 5 billion won, which is 1.4 times the average monthly sales amount of 3.7 billion won in 2016. The order backlog is also steadily increasing, and earnings are expected to improve further.
